Hailing from the Mile High City, known by many as the bass capital, Denver-based producer BRUER (aka Will Mayer) sets to take the dance scene by storm with his free-form sound and captivating style. Moving around all over as a young teen, Mayer found himself in LA at the age of 18. Growing up listening to various styles of dance music from happy hardcore and hardstyle to trance, he was held captive by the innovative genre and had a craving to learn how to create the unique sounds he heard created by some of his favorite acts. Enrolling at ICON Collective, BRUER would take inspiration from some of his favorite names both new and old, including the likes of Zeds Dead, NGHTMRE, Slander, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more to cultivate his own distorted musical vision.
Combining elements of the experimental underground with frenetic sounds from the future, BRUER continues to keep everyone on their toes as he takes inspirations from a variety of genres to make one unique sound all his own. With each track having an independent feeling but being tied together with his gritty urban style, he continues to set himself apart as a rising producer in the scene.
